The Information We Collect:

We do not collect any personal information electronically with the exception of your credit card information when you order, and that information is sent over a secure line. In order for you to provide any personal information for us to use in preparing products you purchase, you must give us such information over the telephone (if you are in the United States) or by e-mail. Unless you telephone us or place an order via e-mail, your visit to our web address is completely private.

 

If you order a professionally written Resume and a professionally written cover letter and live in the US, you will receive a telephone call from one of our professional Resume writers. If you live outside the US, information is obtained only through e-mail correspondence. During telephone calls, and any follow-up calls that might be necessary, or through e-mail, we will ask you extensive personal questions. These questions will cover your work history, career objectives, your strengths and weaknesses, your special skills, knowledge, and abilities, the duties and responsibilities you have at your current position and at previous positions. We may also ask other questions when we believe the information obtained from these questions would be essential in order to prepare a professional Resume and/or cover letter for you.

The Way We Use Information:

We use the information you provide to evaluate your current Resume or to write a new professional Resume and cover letter for you. We do not share this information with outside parties unless you specifically authorize us, in writing, to post or facsimile such Resume and cover letter products to potential employers, recruiters, or references. All information you provide is considered extremely confidential and such information is never shared with others without your prior written approval. We never use or share the personally identifiable information you provide, regardless of how it is obtained, in ways unrelated to the ones described above without your prior written approval.

Data Security:

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you. For example, any hard copies of any work product is kept in a locked filing cabinet. Your information is prepared on computers using Microsoft Word word-processing software and the final documents are stored only on Zip or CD-ROM disks which cannot be accessed electronically by any outside source. Our data security includes professionally installed firewall software. Even if the firewall should fail, it would be impossible for anyone to access your information since your information cannot be accessed from the CD-ROM disks without the physical insertion of the Zip or CD-ROM disk into our computer. The  "Ordering" form, which contains your credit card information, is not stored electronically.

Children's Privacy:

From time-to-time we prepare Resume, cover letters, or other products in the name of children (for admission to private schools for example). Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website, or during phone conversations with parents or guardians, from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13.

How You Can Access Or Correct Your Information:

To insure the accuracy of your personally identifiable information, you will receive a draft copy of any product we prepare for you. You can request changes or corrections by contacting any of our professional Resume writers by sending us a list of the corrections using e-mail addressed to CustomerServices@CrosbyAssociatesLLC.com.

There is no fee charged for corrections nor is there any limitation to the number of times you may contact us to make corrections. Such corrections will be confirmed to you by sending an e-mail or facsimile copy of the corrected Resume cover letter, or other product. We do not charge a fee to make a change of address or a change of telephone number to any Resume we have prepared. We do, however, charge a fee to add new information (a new position for example) to any Resume we prepared for you and that fee includes a full re-write of your Resume to bring it to current style and format. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps, such as asking you to confirm your name, address, and telephone number for example, to verify your identify before making corrections.
